GIVING BACK
As the planet becomes less able to support our population’s growing demands, we are beginning to see our so-called 'progress' with fresh eyes. We need to stop and ask if there is a more sustainable way to live.
We believe that operating sustainably relates not only to the way in which our products are produced and presented but also to putting time and money aside to do good for the health and wellbeing of our planet.
Our gesture is to allocate some of Kio Kio's revenue into a trust to help support sustainable native New Zealand forest.
Kio Kio is taking steps to offset its carbon emissions through manufacturing entirely in New Zealand supporting tree-preserving programmes and will be achieving carbon neutral status as soon as possible.
In the future we also look forward to funding research into the specific unique properties of New Zealand’s indigenous plants to gain a better understanding of our native flora treasure chest.

We have created an environmentally friendly product with category 1 recyclable packaging. We make every attempt to make responsible decisions with our packaging to reduce the use of non-recyclable materials, pollution and minimise waste, and this will be part of our ongoing philosophy.
