Our first task in formulation is to create quality products without ingredients that may potentially harm the body or irritate the skin. Kio Kio products are free of the toxic chemicals that shouldn't be absorbed by your body or by the environment.

We use NO Parabens.

We have found a safe and effective way to preserve the integrity of our products by using a combination of both natural preservatives and state-of-the-art synthetic preservatives in a minimal dose that is safe and effective.

We have used natural antioxidants such as vitamin E to prevent rancidity. Rancid oils can cause free radical skin damage, making products more damaging to the skin.

We use NO petroleum derivatives and by-products.

We believe there is no place for petroleum in natural skincare. Petroleum products clog up the skin with an unnatural layer of mineral oil that prevents the skin from releasing moisture. The only way of removing it is to wash it off with harsh detergents.

Kio Kio's natural plant-based oils and butters actually allow your skin to do as nature intended – to breathe and achieve correct moisture balance according to individual needs – helping to create skin that is soft, supple and glowing. And you'll use much less Kio Kio each time than you would of a petroleum-based product, because it works so effectively.
